Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some questions that are commonly asked about our products and the services we provide. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions you feel have not been covered on this page and we shall answer them as best we can.
Q. Are your products tested on animals?
A. No. We do not condone testing on animals and will therefore not source any products of this kind.
Q. I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup so what can I expect on my wedding day?
A. We always have a trial run 6-8 weeks before your wedding date to go through all of our cosmetic range and choose a look to suit you as an individual. The finish will be a natural, flawless makeup you won’t even know you’re wearing!
Q. Why do we need a makeup trial?
A. It is very important to give you (the bride) and your bridal party (bridesmaids, mother of the bride etc) a makeup trial because it helps us to get to know you all before the big day and we can look at the design of your dress, bridal flowers and the colour scheme of your bridesmaids etc. We will discuss with you what colours you like / dislike and which ones that will suit you best. Plus, most importantly, it gives us the opportunity to assess the type and tone of your skin for skincare preparations and colour corrections (if needed). Once we have done the trial and you are happy with your chosen ‘look’, we only need to bring those products on the day which reduces space needed and it is one less stress for you!
Q. How can I keep my skin in tip top condition in the lead up to my wedding?
A. Firstly, you should start using a good cleansing cream, followed by toner and finishing off with a really good moisturiser, morning and night. This will help keep your skin clean, clear and well prepared for makeup treatment. Secondly, if you have any skin problems such as acne, oily or very dry skin, then you should use the appropriate products as soon as possible, alongside the basic regime, to give you the best chance at keeping your skin in excellent condition ready for your wedding day. We can recommend fabulous products from Mary Kay to help you with your skincare regime, including problem skin such as acne or excessive dryness.
Q. My skin is quite sensitive so am worried I’ll have a bad reaction to your products?
A. All of our makeup is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin. At your trial you will have the opportunity to test any of our products.
Q. How will the makeup look in the photos?
A. Your makeup is designed to emphasise your features and to remain all day without getting shiny.
Q. Do you offer any other services apart from makeup?
A. We don’t but if you take a look at our useful links page you will find personal recommendations for other wedding suppliers.
