Makeup Tips

Makeup Top Tip #4

When choosing a blusher, always use one that matches your natural flushed colour. To find this out, hold up orange or pink shades up to your face and see which one makes you look healthier. Brighter shades will also ’freshen’ your skin and make your skin glow!

Makeup Top Tip #3

If you require your makeup to last without fading, creasing or getting shiny, try applying a ‘foundation primer’ underneath foundation and an ‘eye primer’ underneath eyeshadow. These help to keep your makeup stay put and looking fresh all day long!

Makeup Top Tip #3

Always apply a foundation coloured concealer after the foundation. You will use less concealer this way as foundation also does a certain amount of concealing by itself. Also, there is every chance that if you apply it before, you will wipe it off with the sponge when applying the foundation. Neutralisers on the other hand – lilac, green and peach colours used to neutralise blue, red and yellow must be applied under the foundation.

Makeup Top Tip #2

Smokey eyes – look fabulous with the usual blacks and greys but why not add a little twist to make them more daring? Try using a deep purple or blue instead of black? Add a little silver too!!

Makeup Top Tip #1

Remember to always change your makeup each time you change your hair colour and when tanning you’ll require less makeup and more subtle tones.
